Parents are encouraged to be highly involved at Helena Christian and in their child's education.  Each family is required to complete 20 parent volunteer hours for the year.  There are many opportunities to get involved.  Parents can help in their child's classroom (currently on hold with COVID restrictions), as a field trip chaperones, and during athletic games.  We also have projects around the school, an annual auction and a greenhouse in the spring!  Getting involved gets you connected with the HCS family.

Many times we find parents/grandparents to have awesome talents, abilities and experiences that can benefit the students and school as a whole.  We have several grandparents that love to come in and read with the kids or help in classrooms too!

Opportunities can be found by visiting with a classroom teacher, checking on Sign Up Genius (found under the Parent Resource tab) , email, our weekly newsletter, or the office.

Anyone volunteering in the school must have volunteer paperwork completed, which includes a background check.  Please allow a couple weeks prior to volunteering for paperwork to be processed.
